As vehicles become more software-defined, testing and validation keep getting harder. Nissan Technical Centre Europe (NTCE), Nissan’s primary R&D hub for its global European and AMIEO markets, validates new models from the first prototypes through the start of production, a window of about 12 months. Every new software feature adds interactions among ECUs, and more issues now cross system boundaries.
To keep pace, NTCE worked with Sonatus to bring the Fastlane™ Platform into its pre-SOP validation workflows. Following a successful proof of concept, intelligent, event-driven data collection and AI-powered root-cause analysis are now part of NCTE’s daily operations, replacing manual, vehicle-dependent debugging with a faster, more scalable approach.
Download the case study to see how NTCE is overcoming these challenges:
- Maintaining Development Speed: Keeping validation on track within a roughly 12-month window, even as software complexity grows in every vehicle domain.
- Untangling Cross-Domain Interactions: Pinpointing root causes when a single symptom can originate in lighting, powertrain, chassis, or network behavior.
- Overcoming Prototype Constraints: Easing the cost and bottlenecks of limited test fleets so multiple teams can investigate in parallel on the same vehicle.
