Sonatus is an Automotive News 2022 PACE Award and PACEpilot Innovation Finalist

Sunnyvale, Calif. – April 18, 2022 Sonatus announced today that it has been named both an Automotive News 2022 PACE Award Finalist for their Digital Dynamics™ software-defined vehicle platform and a 2022 PACEpilot Innovation to Watch Finalist for their Vehicle Automation Manager. Sonatus’ Digital Dynamics platform consists of vehicle and cloud software that dynamically orchestrate vehicle behavior—enabling automakers to harness vehicle data, control and secure vehicle connectivity, remedy problems, and more—without requiring software updates.

Vehicle Automation Manager is a first-of-its-kind application of Intelligent Automation at the vehicle core. In addition to the automated optimization of in-vehicle infrastructure, the technology enables the creation of new features, functionality, and personalizations—without writing a single line of code.

Automotive News’ PACE Award and PACEpilot Innovation to Watch programs identify and celebrate the newest game-changing innovations that have been commercialized or sold to an OEM, as well as innovations in their early stages.

“We are thrilled to be a finalist in this year’s PACE Award and PACEpilot Innovation to Watch for our solutions,” said Jeffrey Chou, CEO of Sonatus. “Software-defined vehicles hold an incredible opportunity for automakers. Our second-generation Digital Dynamics platform is helping automakers to accelerate this journey and is empowering them to build more dynamic software-defined vehicles, but we are not stopping there. Our game-changing Vehicle Automation Manager will significantly expand on the value that our evolving software platform delivers to our customers.”

Earlier this year, Sonatus’ Digital Dynamics Platform and solutions entered production for the first time on Genesis’ first dedicated EV, the GV60.
