OEMs can plug it in using Fastlane Copilot and be up and running within days, seeing the benefits to their testing and validation cycle. The software can also be deeply embedded in the vehicle’s architecture, which provides the benefits of flexibility and extensibility throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle. Finally, production vehicles already on the road can easily benefit from Fastlane Insight using existing OEM data sources to improve the service experience and vehicle quality.
The power of the Fastlane Platform is it takes advantage of different AI solutions both in the cloud and in the vehicle. Some types of analysis must run in the vehicle due to latency concerns, the sheer quantity of data, or data privacy issues. Fastlane Edge enables the deployment of models directly in the vehicle. In contrast, Fastlane Insight runs in the cloud to enable high performance LLMs to enable superior data analysis, while protecting proprietary OEM data. Fastlane Collector uses generative AI in the cloud to help craft customized data collection policies, which are then deployed into, reside in, and executed entirely in the vehicle.

No, a critical benefit of the Fastlane Platform, including our in-vehicle AI management solution, Fastlane Edge, is that it takes advantage of vehicle’s existing compute capabilities. A significant number of value-creating edge AI workloads do not require high-performance compute. In many cases existing compute inside typical vehicles is more than enough to allow valuable insights to be created without requiring upgrades to expensive AI or GPU solutions. Of course, if high-performance solutions are available, they can be used as well.
Yes, existing vehicles without advanced embedded software capabilities can still benefit from Fastlane Insight to improve post-sales service, vehicle quality and the customer experience. OEMs can utilize the existing data sources they have available, whether they are simple or advanced, as input to Fastlane Insight.
