Product Manager

Sonatus is looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to define, lead, launch, and manage Sonatus products. The Product Manager works closely with marketing, sales, and customers to identify opportunities and requirements, articulate value and benefits, and support sales opportunities — and with development to create compelling, differentiated solutions. The ideal candidate is a structured problem solver, out-of-box thinker, excellent communicator, and team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Identify compelling business opportunities and Sonatus products/solutions to address them
  • Define and drive Sonatus products and roadmaps
  • Determine and articulate customer needs, product requirements, feature priorities, and user experience
  • Drive feature, business, and time-to-market requirements and trade-offs in order to get products to market
  • Create messaging and positioning that clearly articulates product capabilities, key value propositions, and differentiation
  • Champion products from cradle to grave

Basic Qualifications

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in a product management or similar role
  • Experience in networking, IoT, data management/analytics, cloud, and/or automotive E/E
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, combined with curiosity and creative thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, as well as presentation skills
  • Experienced in software and hardware Product Lifecycle Management
  • Self-motivated, persistent, organized, and able to multi-task across several projects and activities
  • Ability to grasp business needs and issues quickly, and to identify potential solutions with incomplete information
  • Ability to combine technical background, market/customer experience, and out-of-box thinking to develop creative solutions to challenging problems
  • Comfortable with change and able to drive progress in uncertain and ambiguous situations
  • Wired to dive-in, learn, contribute, and get things done

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent business experience
  • Experience in automotive safety (ISO 26262 / ASIL)
  • Experience in automotive security
  • Strong understanding of Agile software and hardware development processes
  • Connections and relationships in the automotive space
